How to Set Minimum Order Quantity for Products ?
Minimum order quantity (MOQ) is the minimum threshold for a product below which a customer cannot place orders for it. For instance, if the MOQ for a product is 5, the quantity of the product in an order should be ‘=’ or ‘>’ 5.
Step 1: Go to Contalog backend and select ‘Channels’ menu.
Step 2: Select ‘Settings’ tab
Step 3: Click the checkbox ‘Force SKU Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) on B2B Sales Orders’ and click ‘Update’.
Note: The MOQ value set for each product while creating it will automatically be considered as the MOQ of the product for B2B portal as well.
Step 4: Enabling ‘Force SKU Allow Multiple Order Quantity (AMOQ) on B2B Sales Orders’ option means customers can order only in multiples of MOQ.
Example: If the AMOQ of a product is ‘3’, users can only order the product in multiple of 3 like 6, 9, 12 and so on.
